Police in hunt for metal sign assault man

POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man they say slashed a reveller across the face with a metal sign.
It happened outside the Clockwork Vodka bar in Pentonville Road on April 15 at 3.25am after the alleged attacker was refused entry for being drunk.
The man, who is believed to be an
Australian, aged around 25, swung a metal sign at one of the doorman but missed and hit an innocent bystander.
His victim suffered a large and deep slash wound across his face while the police suspect ran off towards Claremont Square.
CCTV shows that the man has a Celtic-style tattoo on the inside of his right arm.
Anyone with information should call PC Carly Larsen on 020 7421 0350 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
