Generous gesture

• I HAVE been handsomely compensated by Kier Islington for the inconvenience caused by appointments that were not kept (My long wait for home repair, April 27). My bathroom and a living room wall have been redecorated (at Kier’s expense) in addition to repair work on a rotten window frame. Many thanks, Kier.
