HANDA’S RETURN USHERS IN PUPPET THEATRE’S NEW SEASON

ONE of Islington’s Little Angel Theatre’s best-loved shows is making a comeback next week.
Handa’s Surprise combines colourful puppets, movement and song in a show first performed to critical acclaim in 2004.
Eileen Browne, author of the book on which the show is based, launched the Dagmar Passage theatre’s new programme on Wednesday.
Handa’s Surprise runs from May 17 to July 1, from Wednesdays to Sundays at 10.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm. Box office is on 020 7226 1787.
