Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 4 May 2007

Thief raced off with disappointing haul

• RECENTLY my document case was lifted from my side at Finsbury Park station, while I bought a newspaper. The thief, having a few steps and about 50 years advantage over me, escaped.

As a lecturer I find the loss of papers and my diary listing timetables and addresses most inconvenient. Please, if finding it, return it to me.
The small case, black, zipped, rigid and heavily ribbed, contained nothing of saleable value.
Perhaps the young gentleman with distinctive, light jacket thought it contained a laptop. Hard luck!
