Irish put life into this club

• ST Joseph’s Catholic Social Centre was part of Irish immigrant life (Such a shame to lose social club, April 6).
The sad thing is it was the arrival of the Irish immigrants who really put life into these buildings. Who is going to get the other 40 properties to be built at the church after 14 are given to retired priests?
