Salute to school where skills are top class
AN Islington primary school has won an award for the high standards shown by pupils.
St Mary’s School, in Fowler Road, off Essex Road, has been awarded a Quality Mark from the independent Basic Skills Agency.
Mayor of Islington Councillor Jyoti Vaja presented the award, which recognises pupils’ literacy and numeracy skills, to the Church of England school last week.
