Children on the hunt for hidden eggs
SCORES of children and several hundred eggs filled a park in Finsbury on Tuesday for an early Easter celebration.
The event in Fortune Street Park, organised by Islington Council’s Greenspaces initiative, featured egg and spoon racing, egg painting and a themed treasure hunt.
Children searched the park for special toy rabbits in a themed treasure hunt, which were then magicked into chocolate eggs by a camera-shy Easter Bunny. |
