Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 6 April 2007

Bring back bingo

• I USED to live in Canonbury Road as a youngster. I remember The Carlton, which my brothers and I went to. I’ve been with a friend when it was a bingo hall.

Now it is closed, I feel sorry for people who have been going there for years. Many people live on their own and look forward to meeting friends at Mecca Bingo. If there was a form to sign in the Tribune to keep Mecca Bingo open I’d sign it.
