Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 23 March 2007

Such a good read

I WOULD like to say a big thank-you to the Tribune. I collect 18 copies every Friday from from the newspaper dispenser at Highbury Barn.
In the sheltered accommodation where I live in Highbury, I drop the Tribune through doors for residents to read.
Their ages vary from 60 to 90, and all really enjoy the weekly read so much, because some of them just don’t get out.
They might be on tablets, but the best tonic of the day is your newspaper.
I also deliver copies to friends I’ve known for years in the Highbury area.
They are also grateful, simply because of the distance involved in picking up a copy.
All enjoy the newspaper. There’s so much interest, topics of discussion, local issues and, above all, knowledge of one’s own surroundings.
You tackle and inspire. Your coverage doesn’t come across as frightening as that of the other newspaper in Islington.
