Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 16 March 2007

Is this our worst pavement?

ISLINGTON’S pavements are not renowned for being the best kept in London, but surely the worst is the pavement right outside the Town Hall, by the museum.
Today I witnessed an elderly woman slipping on the flagstones and badly injuring her arm. One would have thought that the council could keep its own “flagship” frontage in good order.
RICHARD DEVONALD-LEWIS
(Former Islington Conservative councillor, 1968-71)
Asteys Row, N1
