BACK at Lauderdale House for his third retrospective exhibition is David Graham, and this time the show includes many of his paintings of Prague. Particularly interesting is his Old New Synagogue (right) – a painting of one of the city’s six synagogues, which have survived despite the Nazi Occupation.

David Graham says the Old New Synagogue is the oldest preserved synagogue in Europe and that Hitler ordered its preservation – as a museum  of an extinct race.

l David Graham’s Retrospective is at Lauderdale House, Waterlow Park, Highgate Hill, N6, until August 29, Tuesday to Friday 11am-4pm, Sunday 12-5pm
