IT was once the home of a school caretaker, then  council housing and finally it lay empty, with the occasional squatter moving in.

Now the Victorian house next to Primrose Hill Primary playground has been turned into a family and children’s centre.

Headteacher Paul Campbell said: “The fact it used to be a house means we have kept that feel – it is a homely space and will help parents become more involved with the school.”
