FREE school campaigners took their case to the Department for Education on Thursday.

The group submitted a document outlining a need for a primary school in Belsize ward.

During a 90-minute interview, they told government officials the school’s ethos would be “for every child to reach their potential and be treated as an individual”.

The group will know whether their application for a free school has been accepted on September 6 – the day Camden Council proposes to sell a site that could be used for the school.
