Saturday drama to be continued

A HOMELESS theatre school in Highgate has been saved from closure by a primary school.
Theatretrain has been running performance arts classes for six to 18-year-olds every Saturday for five years from Parliament Hill School.
But its future looked bleak after teachers decided to replace it with a Hackney-based theatre school, which offered more money.
This week Brookfield Primary School in Highgate came to the rescue, offering its hall as a new venue.
Geraldine Aves, who runs Theatretrain, said: “We are so grateful to the school, which has come to our rescue just in time, as our classes begin this Saturday. They are extremely friendly and very welcoming and I look forward to a very
happy time in our new home.”
Classes begin on Saturday at the school in Chester Road, N19.
