Inquest for autistic artist, Harry Horne-Roberts, found dead

A CORONER has agreed to open an inquest into the death of autistic artist Harry Horne-Roberts, 20, from Upper Holloway, who died in his sleep while in community care.
The Tribune reported last week how Harry’s parents had called for an inquest after claiming he was given a powerful anti-psychotic drug. They allege the drug Chlorpromazine might have contributed to his death.
Originally a different coroner concluded that the death was due to natural causes. Harry, of Cheverton Road, whose work has featured in exhibitions throughout London, was found dead in bed a week before Christmas while in the care of Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.
His mother, barrister Mrs Horne-Roberts, said they would be making an official complaint to the trust. A date for the inquest is to be arranged.
