Blunt message - Leap Confronting Conflict charity - Award for young campaigners against knife crime

YOUNGSTERS have attended an awards ceremony to honour their work in educating peers about the perils of knife crime.
The ceremony recognised the endeavours of young people across the capital and was attended by 18 teenagers from the borough who work for the Leap Confronting Conflict charity.
The charity works in partnership with the council’s youth services department to teach children conflict management skills and curb aggressive behaviour.
Jessie Feinstein, manager of Leap, said: “At Leap we believe that young people are the best role models for other young people. It’s a fantastic thing to see the high esteem these newly trained young educators are held in by their peers.”
