Classical and Jazz: Preview - Jazz Performances at North London Tavern on September 4

Jazz returns after the summer break this Sunday to the North London Tavern in the Kilburn High Road.
The autumn season opener is a great double-bill involving trumpeter/flugelhornist Reuben Fowler’s exciting septet and the sparky young Elliot Galvin Trio.
Weekly gigs arranged by trumpeter Jack Davies over the past two years have helped to put jazz on the Kilburn map, complementing the excellent weekly jazz on Tuesday evenings at the Lower Ground Bar in West End Lane.
Other bands booked to play at the North London Tavern include Rory Simmons’ Monocled Man, James Opstad Septet and Barry Green’s Blue Notes.
