BELSIZE Park is better known for 4x4 vehicles than four-legged friends, but all that changed on Saturday as Haverstock Hill was transformed into an urban farm for the fourth annual Belsize Green Fair.

The eco-friendly day featured beekeeping, apple pressing and jam making demonstrations with stalls spread out between the old town hall and Glenloch Road.

Other environmentally friendly pursuits organised especially for the occasion included a talk on how to keep chickens and wild edible plant identification walks. Growers of north London’s quirkiest vegetables competed to win vouchers from Daunt Books.
