Wellesley Road care home rakes in cash from fete

ELDERLY residents at a Gospel Oak care home can now get gardening after a summer fete helped raise money for new equipment.
Carers at the Wellesley Road Home thanked nearby businesses for donations that made last Wednesday’s fundraiser a success.
Senior care worker Brigitte Mulcahy said: “With the proceeds we’re hoping to buy some things for the residents to use in the garden, like planting and getting involved in different activities.”
