Gold medal haul for gym kids at London Regional tourney
THERE was golden glee for a team of eight boys from Camden Gymnastics Club on Sunday when they scooped a mighty medal haul at the London Regional Championships.
Daveed Roodner, Issa Francois, Dominic Sesto, Theo Gayle, Luke Apata, Hugo Bennetts, R-Marni Aguilar and Kemi Omoshebi showed off their skills at the competition held in Harrow.
The boys returned home to their gym in Kentish Town with 14 gold medals. Among the highlights saw R-Marni dominate the winners’ podium in his floor, rings and parallel bars disciplines, while Dominic won gold on the rings, the parallel bars and the high bar. |

JUST wanted to say well done to all the boys from Camden gymnastics club as the father of R-marni Aguilar makes me so proud to see him doing somthing which is keeping him off the streets and doing something he loves and enjoys. I was there watching all the boys and they really pulled it out of the bag and put in an extremly good proformance, all the boys did very well. Well done to all you boys keep it up.
