Town in five-goal shocker

KENTISH Town’s return to form in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League was short lived as they slumped to a heavy defeat away at Hanwell Town on Saturday.
Things looked to be improving for the side after they recorded their first win in 10 games in their previous outing with a 6-2 victory over Welwyn Garden City.
But relegation respite didn’t last long as a double strike from Charlie Baverstock along with goals from Michael Buckley, Blaise O’Brien and Chris Mills condemned Town to a 5-0 defeat.
After the game manager Rak Hudson said: “We had a reality check in the changing room following the game and stated that changes had to be made.”
