District 6 – Youngsters grab two goals to beat Hackney

THE Year 6 Camden District team kicked off their campaign in the Kay Trophy with a rare win over Hackney on Saturday at Regent’s Park.
Strikers Emmanuel Yeboah and Sandy Owuadey, who both go to St Aloysius Primary School in Somers Town, each grabbed a goal in a great 2-0 win.
The Camden keepers more than played their part. First Dev Khemani, who goes to North Bridge House in Regent’s Park, saved a certain goal when he raced off his line to smother the ball, taking a knock in the stomach in the process that forced him out of the game. St Aloysius pupil Irvine Mgaya-Kimpalu took over and was instantly called into action, producing a spectacular fingertip save to push the ball around the post.
