• JACQUELINE James-Bryan is quite correct (Threat to ‘community learning’, Letters, November 19).
There seems to be no publicity for the excellent “community learning” courses that our council is funding.
I had to try four of Camden’s libraries before I found one with the correct brochure and with a librarian with some knowledge of these courses.
As Camden is funding these courses, it is hopefully a requirement that the funds involved are not wasted. The council should therefore insist that the colleges who provide these courses for the council ensure that their existence is made known to the widest possible audience.
Even a column or two in the local paper would be a 100 per cent increase on existing advertising.
