Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 12 November 2009

How about a drug treatment centre in NW6?

• IT amazes me that one letter supporting a drug treatment centre next to a primary school and a residential estate in this area is in the same edition as an article regarding priority for children from the Holborn and Covent Garden ward for selection to the South Camden Community School as there are no suitable schools in this area.
Although it may be hard to believe there are humans alive and kicking south of King’s Cross and we do have children, we would like them to have a school that is accessible and for them not to have to travel across the borough to attend school.
There is no need for a drug treatment centre in this area; we do not have a massive drug problem. Perhaps the best place for a drug treatment centre is in a hospital or maybe, as A McKnight is so understanding, it could be located in NW6.
