Curtis and Soji take top spots

FENCERS Curtis Miller and Soji Aiyenuro dominated the podium after their outing at the Gateshead Under-20s Sabre Tournament.
The Camden Fencing Club team-mates met in the boys’ final of the competition, a national qualifier for both the junior and cadet circuits.
Curtis narrowly pipped Soji to gold as he edged a thrilling final by two points to win 15-13.
The result means Curtis is now second in the National Juniors rankings while Soji has moved into third place as well as being Britain’s top-ranked cadet.
With the help of Camden Council’s Sports Development Team and Sport England, Camden Fencing Club is going from strength to strength.
The club has introduced fencing into five borough primary schools and has received a £5,000 grant boost from Barclays Wealth.
