Launderette robber jailed

A ROBBER who terrorised women in King’s Cross launderettes was jailed for seven years on Monday.
Lloyd Bryan, 40, of no fixed address, robbed women at launderettes in Coram Street, Cromer Street and Leigh Street between January and March this year.
He used a knife to rob lone female staff at Smartline Launderette, in Coram Street, and Launderama, in Cromer Street, on the same day in January.
He was found guilty after a seven-day trial at Blackfriars Crown Court in September. Detective Constable Michael Johnston, from Camden’s robbery squad, said: “I am pleased Lloyd Bryan received a substantial prison sentence as he is a violent offender who attacked lone women.”
