Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 5 November 2009

Prime nimbyism

• JUST what is going on with the local planners and the Vale community?
From pictures published in your last edition it is obvious the proposed new house is a 100 per cent improvement over the 1960s structure now on the site. The apparent low rise of the proposed new house and its transparent skeletal structure make it almost unobtrusive in its setting and it will open up views for the residents in whose back yard it will be built.
I have no connection to any of the parties concerned but, as a professional architect and planner for more than 50 years, I feel qualified to comment on this prime example of nimbyism.
Brian Ring,
