Closely-fought win sees Regent’s Park climb up the league

REGENT’S Park continued their climb up the table in the Under-12s ‘B’ League on Friday with a narrow win over Islington Admiral Youth.
Goals from Michael Burrows and Jordan Spearman proved enough to earn the fast-improving side a 2-1 victory at Market Road.
In the Under-9s North League, table-toppers Isledon Wolves made it four wins out of four with a resounding 6-1 win over Chapel Boys. Star player Jack Cheeseman scored a stunning hat-trick, while Deon and Nicky Marshall and Tony Stanford were also all on target.
Wolves were just as ruthless in front of goal against Football de Salao in the Under-11s ‘B’ League.
Bassan Menhal bagged a brace, grabbing his second after a cheeky back-heel from Brandon Walsh.
Walsh added a third, before Zeki Musa scored his first for the club with a well-taken free kick.
Player-of-the-match Eliezer Kafuti completed the 5-0 victory to earn Wolves their first win of the season in this age group.
