Hotshot Tao fires Locomotive cup win
NEWCOMERS Locomotive Youth stormed into the third round of the Middlesex Cup on Sunday with a 9-0 victory over West Drayton Explorers.
Hotshot Tao Olomowewe claimed a first-half hat-trick, while Shane Cojocarel and George Yianni both scored twice. Goals from Kadeem Gutzmore and Lee Houghton completed the rout for the under-13s side.
In the Camden and Islington Youth League, Isledon Wolves battled out a goalless draw against Peel on Tuesday in the Under-13s ‘A’ League.
Arron Hammond and Noah Jones were both in exceptional form for Wolves, who failed to turn their dominance into goals.
Wolves are still searching for their first win in the Under-12s ‘A’ League.
On Monday they slumped to a 3-1 defeat against Crown and Manor, with a strike from John Mcdonald offering little consolation. |
