Power: ‘Weight and see’
BANTAMWEIGHT Martin Power is stepping up his quest for a British title by stepping down a weight in the ring.
The father of two from Castlehaven was beaten by Darlington’s Stuart Hall in his last outing after moving up to super bantamweight.
Now “Too Much” Power has set his sights on dropping to super flyweight as he prepares for his return to the ring. He said: “I think dropping down a weight will give me my best chance at recapturing a British title. I’ve always been a bantamweight, but I’m confident the change will be good for me.” |
