No respite for Town

KENTISH Town’s disappointing run in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League continued on Saturday when they lost at home to Leverstock Green.
Town made the worst possible start when Simon Conway’s shot deflected in off Joe O’Connor within 60 seconds of kick-off.
Conway struck again on 32 minutes when he headed in a corner to make it 2-0.
In the second-half Mariusz Serwin gave Kentish Town hope when he scored his third goal in as many games to reduce the deficit. But Leverstock Green held on to their advantage to clinch a 2-1 win, and leave the Townies with just four points from their opening six games.
