Kitchen joy
• I WRITE regarding the recent criticism of work carried out by Apollo contractors (Housing refurbishment programme is a shambles, August 27).
I have recently had a new kitchen installed by Apollo, which I am very satisfied with. There was good communication between the contractors and myself. The workers were polite, hard-working and cleaned up as they left.
The work was carried out in the time specified, and minor snagging was completed after a phone call, on the same day. Yes it was a problem not having a proper kitchen for a couple of weeks, but the end product is worth the small inconvenience for a lovely new kitchen.
