Gareth Dauley being mobbed by four Knights
Date with destiny Blitz BritBowl face-off with Jets

THE London Blitz American Football Club booked their place in their fourth consecutive BritBowl on Sunday by defeating the Farnham Fast Lane Knights 33-13.
The Finsbury Park-based team were 21-13 ahead at half time after a hat-trick of touchdowns from running back Gareth Dauley.
A touchdown from wide receiver Rod Bradley, a 27-yard field goal and a safety completed the scoring.
After the game, head coach Mark Moss said: “We’re there now. It was all a bit tense.
“We’ve got eight practices till the Bowl game and we’ll be working our socks off to be ready and prepared.”
The Blitz will face the Coventry Jets at BritBowl XXIII in Doncaster on September 27.
