Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 3 September 2009

Diminishing returns

• ARE there any other council estates in Camden having their communal gardens sectioned off by tenants for private use?
This has been happening at Artisan Dwellings in the full knowledge of the district housing office and the residents’ association.
Residents are still asked to pay the full service charges for a communal garden which has been getting smaller and smaller.
These private gardens are complete with, in one case, a permanent gazebo, as well as garden furniture, pot plants, barbecues etc.
And the pot plants are pushed close together to form a barrier to keep other residents out.
