Copenhagen Youth Project, Boys Over-16s Cup winners
Project FA Cup goalfest

SILKY skills, tough-tackling and a glut of goals have graced the Swiss Cottage Sports Pitch this summer as teams turned out in force for a series of youth football tournaments.
The Winchester Project’s FA Cup has seen top teams from across Camden and Islington battling it out for silverware in various age categories.
In the grand finals, two teams from the Soccerettes Summer Soccer School went head-to-head for the girls’ under-12s trophy.
Playing as Arsenal and Liverpool, it was the Gunners who ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a goal from Shauna Lawless.
The success was a great result the Camden Sports Development team, who organised the Soccerettes sessions that have been running at Cantelowes Gardens throughout August.
Players from Team Camden, who were playing as Manchester United, were also celebrating as they lifting the girls’ over 16s trophy after beating the Winchtonians, who were playing as Coventry City.
The boys’ over 16s final turned out to be the battle of Manchester as City took on United for top honours.
Playing as City, it was the boys from the Copenhagen Youth Project in Islington who ran out victorious after goals from Tonte Anabraba and Niko Muir sealed a 2-1 win over Sirocco FC.
The boys’ under-16s trophy went to Ace United, who took to the field as Coventry City, while hosts the Winch won the boys’ under-14s age category to lift the FA Cup for West Ham.
