We’re still suffering from an illegal invasion

• IN response to the letter (Bias on Cyprus, July 23) it is a fact that Turkey illegally invaded Cyprus in 1974, forcing innocent people from their homes and killing thousands.
There is no other way of looking at it. Turkey has to leave and give the Cypriots back their land.
Thirty-five years later we will still look for a peaceful solution to the Cyprus situation and not in an aggressive way.
