• AS a stroke survivor, representing the Royal Free Hospital, I am aghast at the decision of Richard Sumray and the joint committee of primary care trust to approve the closure of the stroke unit.
If they cannot stand up on behalf of the hospital, they should let others with more energy fight the battle.
