Simeon shines at Golden League

HIGH-flying Highgate Harrier Simeon Williamson raced home fourth in the A 100m Golden League meeting at Bislet Stadium, Norway, on Saturday.
Williamson hit 10.13 with former world record holder Asafa Powell of Jamaica finishing first in 10.07.
London Heathsider Paul Lemmon successfully defended his British Veterans 3000m steeplechase title in Birmingham. Lemmon finished first in 10:19.13 at the track and field championships race in Alexander Stadium.
Club colleague Tony Killilea just missed out on a medal placing, finishing fifth in 11:23.44.
Gavin Evans finished first over-40 veteran and ninth overall in the Regent’s Park 10k on Saturday in 37:53. Caroline White was second over-50 veteran in a time of 50:03.
