Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 2 July 2009

Vandals won’t stop party

• A GROUP from the Mansfield Neighbourhood Association, involved in the maintenance of the garden on the Savernake Road/Parliament Hill footbridge, put in 100 new plants including 10 grand dahlias (surplus to the requirements of the staff of the Golders Hill Park Gardens).
By the Monday the dahlias had been removed. We had been especially keen to complete the work ahead of a street party in Estelle Road last Saturday. We won’t let the vandalism stop the enjoyment.
Peter Bruggen, Mackeson Road, NW3
