High cost of helicopters
• I WAS really glad to see the letter (Chopper police keep me awake, June 4) as the Belsize area is also affected by this noise.
Of course, I am grateful to police for protecting us, but there is no obvious reason for these daily and nightly visits, often at 3am.
It is difficult to get to sleep afterwards.
When complaints are made to the police there is never any reply.
In view of the high cost to keep helicopters flying surely this service needs reviewing.
