Dominant: Blitz win with shut-out

LONDON Blitz American Football team stretched their winning run to three games in a row with a dominant 35-0 win over Sussex Thunder. The Blitz, who play their homes games at Finsbury Park, cruised to a 21-0 lead at half time with running back Gareth Dauley scoring two touchdowns and wide receiver Rod Bradley scoring a third.
Fellow wide receivers Talla N’Diaye and Michael Casper also found the end zone; with kicker Nathan Holt and holder Ed Morgan both adding on extra points in this one-sided encounter.
After the game London Blitz head coach Mark Moss said: “Obviously the win is the most important thing, but the shut-out is also important to us.”
