Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 14 May 2009

Thanks to Somerfield

• TWO weeks ago last Monday (April 27), my friend Ann became ill while we were shopping at Somerfield in Camden High Street.
She had a dizzy turn at the checkout and fell back hitting her head on the chocolate racks.
Within seconds, Sarah, a customer who was standing behind Ann, rang 999 on her mobile; Somerfield rang as well, so she got two ambulances. First aid staff at the shop attended to Ann until the ambulance staff arrived.
This week Ann got a letter from Somerfield head office in Liverpool saying how much they regretted the incident. They hoped that Ann was feeling better and wished her a speedy recovery.
Well done Somerfield and well done to the ambulance crew who attended her! We must give praise where praise is due.
Ann is much better now.
