Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 30 April 2009

What about the girls?

• ONE of the posters in your front-page picture (April 23) said that Chalcot is the only school in north London for children with social, behavioural, and emotional difficulties; yet the article on page 2 said the school “currently teaches around 50... boys”.  What, therefore, has been happening to girls with such difficulties?
This school it should be expanded to include as many girls who need this help as the number of boys who have been receiving it all along.  Why have girls been excluded anyway?
