Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 16 April 2009

We shall miss Bernie Moss’s great contribution

• THANK you for your obituary of Bernie Moss (April 9).
Like me, many members of the Labour Party in Camden were shocked and saddened by Bernie’s death.
He had strongly-held political views, to which he remained constant, and which he expressed with erudition and eloquence at our regular constituency meetings. He often arranged for a variety of interesting speakers to lead policy discussions at our meetings, and his efforts here were always appreciated.
As your piece said, although Bernie often disagreed with government policy, he always wanted to see Labour prosper electorally, both locally and nationally. We will all miss the contribution he made to political life in our constituency.
MIKE KATZ
Chair, Hampstead & Kilburn Labour Party, NW6
