Arsenal Ladies spot on

FA Premier League
Arsenal 3, Bristol 0

ARSENAL Ladies needed two penalties to overcome Bristol Academy on Sunday in their final home game of the season at Meadow Park in Borehamwood.
Kim Little opened the scoring from the spot within minutes of the kick-off after Jayne Ludlow was pulled down in the box.
Midfielder Katie Chapman doubled the advantage when she fired home a long range free-kick in first-half stoppage time.
The points were made safe in the 85th minute when sub Suzanne Grant smashed the ball home from 12 yards after Gemma Davison was brought down in the area.
It was the Gunners’ second win on the spin following Thursday night’s 3-1 victory at Birmingham.
Little was again instrumental throughout, scoring twice in quick succession midway through the first-half. Ciara Grant sealed the points 17 minutes from time with a well-placed header.
Arsenal are now eight points clear of rivals Everton at the top of the table, although the Toffees have three games in hand.
The Gunners also still have to visit Everton for what is shaping up to be a winner-takes-all encounter.
