Striker John seals cup final slot

STAR striker John Charles scored twice on Sunday to lead Cobden Athletic into the final of the Bill Price Memorial Cup.
Patrick Jones was also on target as the Division One side sealed a comfortable 3-0 victory against AFC Shooters at Hackney Marshes.
Cobden will now face the winners of the game between Archway Allstars and Mayville in the final, which is due to be played on Sunday May 3.
Meanwhile treble winners the Pakenham rounded off their magnificent debut season in the Camden Sunday League with a resounding 8-1 win over FC Bertoli. Jaron Robinson led the goal charge with a stunning hat-trick, while strike partner Daniel Wright bagged a brace.
The result means the Division Three champs end their glorious campaign having scored 102 goals in just 16 league games, conceding only 13.
