Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 19 March 2009

Fears grow for our trees

• WHY have our beautiful trees been mutilated in the name of pruning? The people who carry out this operation care little about keeping the shape. It is important that a certificate for a pruning course be produced before anyone touches any tree.
Another point to be brought to the attention of the council to preserve our mature trees is a blitz on the old ivy that is sucking the life out of them all over the country.
