Wolves show bite with seven

Camden & Islington Youth League

ISLEDON Wolves found their shooting boots on Friday when they beat Lyndhurst in the Camden and Islington Under-9s Youth League.
Hat-trick hero Nicky Marshall led the goal charge, while strike partner Nathan Carlyle scored twice to give Wolves a 5-0 lead at the break. Kyroe Omar-Brandy and Janel Ince were also on target as Isledon ran out 7-0 winners.
The club’s Under-15s side continued the celebrations when they battled back from
3-0 down to rescue a point against Somers Town.
Strikes from Enoch Adjie and Ishmail Koroma brought Wolves right back into the game, before a late own-goal levelled the scores at 3-3.
Staying in the Under-16s and 15s age category, Lyndhurst Eagles moved up to second in the league after taking four points from their last two games.
On Friday Lyndhurst looked sharp in front of goal as they brushed aside Crown and Manor. Tosin Akande gave the Eagles the lead midway through the first half with an unstoppable free-kick, before doubling the advantage minutes later. Neville Rivelino rounded off the scoring.
The Eagles were still flying high after becoming the first team this season to take a point off league leaders Islington Admiral Youth.
Trailing 2-0, James Goldring pulled Lyndhurst back into the game after good work from Charlie Rose, before Akande secured a deserved point late on with another well-placed free-kick.
In the Under-12s League, Islington Tufnell Youth recorded their sixth win of the season with a resounding 7-2 victory over Soccerscool.
Luke Dunkley capped a
man-of-the-match display with a spectacular hat-trick. Levi Bojang bagged a brace to net his first goals for the club, while Ryan Salter and Anthony Kearney-Wellington also scored.
