Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 29 January 2009

Community strength

• OVER the last two weeks, BBC Radio 4 has been airing a show on the history of King’s Cross.
I hope many New Journal readers have had the chance to listen to the show, which was put together by the King’s Cross Voices project.
I wish to send my congratulations to Alan Dein and everyone involved in putting this excellent show together, enabling people throughout King’s Cross to document their memories of the changing community through spoken word.
It is clear from listening to the programme that King’s Cross has undergone many changes over the years and remains an area with a strong local community and sense of identity.
If you were not lucky enough to hear the show on Radio 4, more information on King’s Cross Voices can be found on the internet www.kingscrossvoices.org.uk
