Hoop and glory for Brook aces

BASKETBALL players from Brookfield Primary School were jumping for joy after being crowned champions in the latest competition organised by the Camden School Sports Association (CSSA).
Super six Callum Hendrickson, Marcelo Smith, Shai Hurlock, Taylor Ricketts Williams, Harry James and Fahmi Mohamed showed tremendous team spirit as they captured their first trophy in the CSSA Basketball League.
The Brookfield boys were rewarded for their hard work off the court, after practising their skills with teachers Kiran Sokhi, Leisa De Burca and Gary Journeaux.
Kiran Sokhi, who is the sports co-ordinator at the Highgate school, said: “Teachers, parents and staff are all very proud of the whole team. Next year they will be a force to be reckoned with!”
